As Bruno says of the château’s famous stoney soils: “the more stones, the poorer the soil; the poorer the soil, the better the wines!” Sitting right in the heart of Saint-Julien, Château Ducru-Beaucaillou’s famous 75 hectare vineyard features a special 5 hectare parcel adjacent to the château that is on some of the best terroir in Bordeaux.
